You, Beauty, Box, 2016

This month YouBeauty has had a bit of a makeover.
They have a gorgeous new website which is sleek and modern and they are introducing more of their limited edition boxes.

I'm seriously considering getting the Elemis Box (£25  and free postage of you're a member) which I think is an absolute bargain!  They are sample sizes but you get a lot for your money and having never tried Elemis before I think it would be a really good way to try out a brand!

If you haven't heard of The You Beauty Box before here's a little explanation.
It's a subscription service similar to Birchbox where you can choose 2 samples (sometimes there are full-size items too) and you get a few extra samples as well all for £6.95 including p&p.
I've been a subscriber for probably about a year now and I have had some lovely products and found some gems that have become part of my stash!

Anyway onto what's on offer in this months box.
They've called it 'The Rested and Radiant Edit' which made me really hopeful for some beautiful items that would help me relax, unwind and look fresh.

February Shortlist:

Free product worth £8 whrn you re-activate

Tisserand, Sweet, Dreams, Bath, Oil, Night, Time, Routine, Sleep, Well

Tisserand Sweet Dreams Bath Oil - 20ml

At the moment, I don't have access to a bath do this product didn't really appeal to me for that reason. The box.You website says:

'The indulgent soporific blend infused with Lavender, Bergamot and Ylang Ylang 100% natural essential oils will pamper the body and still the mind, helping lull you into a peaceful slumber at the end of the day'

I love essential oils and I'm kind of sad that I don't have a bath to try it in as lavender really helps me settle at night!
I have tried Tisserand products in the past and they have really helped me relax and unwind after a particularly stressful day!
Salon, Science, Cellucovery, Scalp, Tonic, Treatment, Hair, Care

Salon Science Cellucovery Scalp Tonic Treatment - 50ml

A scalp tonic isn't something I would consider using as I suffer from dandruff and have a sensitive scalp so I have to be really careful what I use on my hair so if I'm honest I disregarded this as I've finally got a routine going that is helping with my issues.
If you are interested in scalp treatments that promote stronger, thicker, healthier hair in 8 weeks then this will be well worth a try.
Puriskin, Resurfacing, Formula, Skin, Care, Routine

Puriskin Resurfacing Formula - 15ml

I'm not in need of any skincare at the moment as I've just treated myself to the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and my skin isn't really in need of this product.  The box.You website says it is:

'Designed for extremely sensitive and traumatised skins, Puriskin Formula is an effective remedy formulated to assist in the healing process.'

If you have inflamed skin and need some help calming it down this may work for you as it contains cucumber that can help bring rapid relief to the skin so it would definitely be worth adding to your box.
Puriskin, Resurfacing, Cream, Skin, Care

Puriskin Resurfacing Cream - 15ml

I'm quite lucky that rarely get spots and my skin is in a fairly good condition.  This cream claims to help with blemishes and surface damage such as stretch marks and acne scars so if you have those this may be worth a try to help improve their appearance.
Nip, and, +, Fab, Body, Slim, Fix, Skin, Care

Nip+Fab Body Slim Fix - 45ml

I don't moisturise my body daily and I know I really should! I run out of time in the morning and I haven't found a product that I like that doesn't leave me feeling greasy!
I'm not sure I believe the claims fo this product and with it being a sample size I don't feel like I would see any benefit from the minimal use I would get from it.
If you have tried it let me know if it worked for you and really made a difference to your appearance.
Mauli, Himalayan, Healing, Salts, Bath, Time, Sleep, Well, Night, Time, Routine

Mauli Himalayan Healing Salts - 60g

If I had a bath that worked I would add these to my box as I have tried similar products in the past and absolutely loved them.  The box.You websites says they are:

'multi-layered healing Himalayan pink salts, infused with 13 exquisite therapeutic oils and laced with soothing powdered rose quartz'

It helps your body absorb minerals and nutrients better and soothes aches and pains in a wonderful bath experience!
If you choose these make your bath an experience and add some candles and soothing music so you can properly relax!
Kevyn, Aucoin, The, Matte, Bronzing, Veil, in, Desert, Days, Make, Up, Bronzer

Kevyn Aucoin The Matte Bronzing Veil in Desert Days - 1.4g

I'm a sucker for anything makeup related so this went down straight away as one of my selections for this month's box. I haven't heard of this brand but when I looked around ti got good reviews. The box.You website says that it is an ultra-fine powder that has a silky weightless feel and this particular shade is perfect so the website says for fair to medium complexions.  I can't wait to try it on my next date night with the BF!
Dr, Dr.Organic, Organic, Dead, Sea, Mineral, Plasma, Bio, Bio-Plasma, Mud, Mask, Skin, Care, Face, Mask

Dr.Organic Organic Dead Sea Minerals Bio-Plasma Mud Mask - 100ml

I love a good face mask and I have only heard good things about the Dr Organic range and this particular product gets good reviews on other sites. The box.You website states that it is:

'An oil regulating, detoxifying and anti-aging bio-plasma face treatment. On the surface it is an organic pore cleansing face mask, deep down it is a bioactive deeply replenishing face-lift.'

This is the other item I have chosen to add to my box this month as I can always do with some help controlling my oily t-zone. Whether the claims it works as a replenishing face-lift are genuine I'm not so sure but Its a decent size sample so I'll be able to give it a thorough test run.
Benecos, Buckthorn, and, Orange, Hand, and, Nail, Cream, skin, care

Benecos Buckthorn and Orange Hand and Nail Cream - 75ml

I've been neglecting my hands lately and really I should have put this product in my bag instead of one of the others. According to the box.You website it contains Orange Zest Oil and Sea Buckthorn Extract which help to nourish and hydrate the hand, nails and cuticles.
It is a decent sized sample and would be really handy to throw in your handbag to keep your hands moisturised on these cold days.
Aurelia, Probiotic, Skincare, Refine, and, Polish, Miracle, Balm, Skin, Care

Aurelia Probiotic Skincare Refine and Polish Miracle Blam - 15ml

This Miracle Balm is a double action, multi-use enzyme polish that helps transform dull skin.  It contains plant enzymes nad refining beads to help balance and protect the skin.
This product didn't really appeal to me as I have a few products that I am happy with that make my skin feel good and this didn't really stand out to me!

Wow, there are a lot of products to choose from this month!  That's why I love this subscription box as there is always something you want to try and then they throw a few bonus samples in as well! It's also a great way to try brands you would never think to try or wouldn't normally try because they are out of your

There were a few extras this month.  The 'Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer', a travel size Eyeko Black Magic Mascara, Vita Liberata Luxury Tan and some sachets of the Real Technique Brush Cleansing Gel!

I knew about the Philip Kingsley product and was excited to try it as I've heard so many good reviews but the others were a bonus; although I don't really use fake tan so that may just end up hiding away in my growing box of samples!

I can't wait to try all my new products!
The box was definitely worth its money this month!

What do you think of my picks?
Would you have chosen differently?
Let me know what you would have gone for below!
